Please note that orders are not processed until they are paid in full (with the exception of freight charges) unless other terms have been documented and agreed on. Orders are placed and ETA's are given based on the actual order date (the day the order has been paid and processed). Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof's warehouse or at a supplier's warehouse, are generally delivered within 7 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.

Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Almost all Japanese manufacturers work in a "just in time" inventory system and often take 2 to 6 weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships two ccean freight containers every month from Japan. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks from Tokyo to Los Angeles, including time for customs clearance on both ends. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.

Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that - estimates. We estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof's policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, please understand that this is impossible for us to do.

Please be advised that the fastest an item can arrive from Japan by ocean freight is 5 weeks and this is only if the item was in stock when we ordered it. Most items take between 2-3 months on average to receive.
